May and June report - Thank you for your support! 🎉🎊🫶🏽🎈 We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to LA CADA and to all those who make financial contributions to Project Resilience. Your generosity allows us to continue offering all of our services free of charge, as we remain committed to meeting the needs of those we are called to serve under our mission. Because of your support: • We provided $500 in gift cards to families in the Pomona Unified School District. • We provided $100 and $50 gift cards to seven additional families in need. • We are actively assisting a victim of human trafficking on their journey to safety and healing. • We assisted a victim of violence and her three children with hotel accommodations to ensure their safety and stability. • We supported a family of seven going through a traumatic crisis by covering three nights in a hotel and providing gift cards for food. Thank you for standing with us. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

2024 was a great year of impact and growth—but 2025 is our year of equipping, training, and continuing to build our infrastructure. We understand as a organization it is imperative to slow down and build from within, because we believe that greater things are coming—in due time. After applying several times, we are incredibly BLESSED to share that Project Resilience has been selected as one of the community-based organizations to join the ninth cohort of the Los Angeles County Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) Incubation Academy! This program is designed to equip CBOs and FBOs—especially those serving underrepresented and justice-involved populations—with the training, capacity building, and technical assistance needed to strengthen their impact. We don’t take this opportunity lightly. Words cannot fully express the gratitude we feel for the opportunity to collaborate with Pomona Unified School District (PUSD). From February to May 2025, Project Resilience had the honor of providing services across seven schools, offering educational workshops on: • Human Trafficking Awareness • Vaping Education • Peer Pressure • Fentanyl Awareness • Substance Abuse Prevention We believe that education and prevention are powerful trauma and violence prevention strategies—equipping students with knowledge and healthy coping skills that can impact their lives long-term. As part of our commitment to student engagement, we also provided weekly gift card incentives and snacks to participating students. Now, we are actively preparing for the 2025–2026 school year—expanding our reach to ten schools through curriculum development and training. A heartfelt thank you to our funders, donors, and PUSD for trusting us to pour into the lives of these students. ✨ We Want To Make A Lasting Impact ✨ We are a grassroots organization, birthed in February 2022 from a story of RESILIENCE, healing, and purpose. 💪🏽💜 Words can’t fully express the gratitude we feel for our funders, our Board Members, volunteers, staff, community partners, and the incredible individuals we serve. THANK YOU. 🙌🏽 In January 2024, we were blessed with the opportunity to open a Trauma-Informed Program — a major milestone for Project Resilience. A HUGE thank you to Parents Anonymous for your hard work and collaboration with Project Resilience. 💜 This FRUITFUL event brought together individuals and families for Fentanyl Awareness during National Prevention Week. ✅ We provided Narcan Training ✅ DEA hosted an interactive activity teaching parents how to search rooms for drugs 🌮🌭 Everyone enjoyed free tacos, hot dog meals, and drinks! How we Help

Human Trafficking

We support survivors of human trafficking through case management, advocacy, safety planning, basic needs and connections to critical resources. Our team works to help survivors reclaim their lives.

Community Awareness Events

We host and participate in community events to raise awareness on issues such as substance use, trafficking, trauma, and youth empowerment. These events focus on prevention, education, and building community resilience.

Speaking Engagements

Our team offers engaging presentations for schools, organizations, and community groups on topics including trauma, substance use, human trafficking, and prevention. We tailor each engagement to educate, empower, and spark action.
